Yeti or Not: Happy Birthday

I can' t believe how fast time goes by. It's october and fall again!And the stamp sets for colder seasons are back to use (or to be inked up for the first time). Just like this super cute set by Lawn Fawn called Yeti or Not!
I also used some images from Lawn Fawn's Elphie Selfie for a birthday themed card: a cake, a balloon and a little birthday guest. For the colouring I used a mix auf alcohol marker and coloured pencils.
For the background I stayed in the colour scheme that I used for the images. I created an ombré effect by inkblending pinks and violets on the panel. Then I die cut Lawn Fawn's Zig Zag Rectangles (they are on sale right now) from that piece of paper.
I adhered the images on the panel and added some clouds. The clouds came from Lawn Fawn's Spring Showers. I die cut them from heavy vellum. Before die cutting I added Stick It! Adhesive to the backside of the vellum - the only way you can glue down vellum without seeing the glue from the front.
I cut down a rectangle that is a bit longer than the zig zag rectangle and that fits better on a European standard Din A6 card. That left a narrow place on the bottom of the panel for my sentiment. And the Happy Birthday from Lawn Fawn's Simply Sentiments fits perfectly in that place.
