For today's card I broke out the watercolours which haven't seen any use for a while so I wasn't sure how this would turn out!!! I thought I'd use this delicious cupcake stamp set from MFT and ,for a change, I made for a one layered card ....

I've used a piece of watercolour card to stamp the row of cakes onto but before doing that I stamped out the arrangement onto a scrap piece of paper as a guide to help me plan which cakes needed masking. Once I'd stamped them out I watercoloured them, leaving a few areas of white for highlights, and I also added a faint glow around the candle and a touch of glitter glue to the flame.

I left it to dry completely before adding my sentiment then trimmed the panel down and mounted it onto a lilac card base. I kept to a limited but pretty colour palette and I have to say they do look rather mouth watering :)
